Job Purpose:

Assistant Branch Managers for Customers Bank will help lead the Branch staff in being the best bank in each market we serve. Our success will be measured in the strength of our relationships, our reputation for excellence and ability to reach and exceed goals. All activities will support the Customer Bank culture of providing outstanding customer service and high tech /high touch banking solutions.

Key Accountabilities:

  • Assist Branch Manager in implementing Sales and Service plan to capture each market in which we serve ; help develop plan for all new products and services before implementation
  • Manage day – to day- activities under guidance of Branch Manager to ensure sales, service and operational excellence
  • Assist in recruitment, management, coaching and development of Team- ensure Branch Team Members are trained on all skills and knowledge required for success.
  • Ensure Branch Operations/Training is a partner- all transactions, policies, procedures and compliance activities are to be implemented according to current Customers Bank practices and policies
  • Provide a superior level of customer satisfaction as measured by Customers Bank survey results
  • Help provide a " best face forward" every day to all customers and community by reflecting a professional image and pride in the Customers Bank culture
  • Manage Compliance Activities , policies and programs in line with standard- work closely with Compliance/Audit/Risk Management officers to ensure ongoing compliance with all regulations, controls and practices

Skills/ Requirements

Department:

Warehouse Lending Division, Hamilton, NJ

Job Purpose:

The Collateral Assistant will work with the warehouse lending operations staff in all aspects of collateral movement and provide back office support to collateral operations.

Key Accountabilities:

  • Assist in the receipt and documentation of loan funding packages
  • Gather and process collateral documents for delivery to investor
  • Record receipt of post-closing documentation and maintain collateral package
  • Assist in the verification of mortgage loan closings through phone calls and/or email
  • Gather and review online reports from vendors and document collateral system
  • Assist in general office support such as collateral file movement and electronic document storage

Loan Administration, Phoenixville, PA

Job Purpose:

The Loan Operations Processor will be responsible for working on all aspects of loan processing support functions, including loan payments, advances, wires, floor plan administration and posting and monitoring activities in OSI data processing system.

Key Accountabilities:

  • Primary processor for loan payments, advances, and wires, ensuring all are accurately posted to the OSI data processing system on a daily basis
  • Primary processor for loan payoffs, ensuring proper amounts are collected including satisfaction fees and pre-payment penalties
  • Draft payoff letters as requested by customers
  • Primary individual for floor-plan administration including inventory tracking, advances, payments and reconciliations
  • Inputs new loans into OSI data processing system, ensuring accuracy and proper controls are in place
  • Assist in external/internal customer support and researching any problems to resolution
  • Other roles include monitoring daily bills, delinquent notices, balancing loan general ledger accounts
  • Collaborate/work with team to accomplish all other projects as needed

Skills/ Requirements

  • Prior experience in loan operations preferred but not required
  • Strong skills in Microsoft Office - Word, Excel, Outlook
  • Ability to compile and analyze data with a fierce attention to detail

Job Purpose:

The Director of Accounting Policy and Financial Reporting will have the primary responsibility for ensuring compliance with Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP), preparing all required SEC filings and preparing regulatory reports for Customers Bank. The ideal individual will have experience with a fast growing Bank with multiple businesses and multiple geographic locations and be capable of handling acquisitions and subsequent integrations to ensure compliance with accounting and reporting standards.

Key Accountabilities:

  • Write and maintain all accounting policies for the bank
  • Serve as leader on technical accounting expertise – analyze and provide recommendations of any proposed accounting standards before implementation
  • Serve as leader on preparing all SEC filings including 10K, 10Q and other required filings
  • Evaluate all proposed transactions for all  accounting and reporting  implications and provide day to day leadership and guidance for all including anything new, unusual, significant or complex transactions or products
  • Provide written summaries of all accounting positions taken on significant transactions
  • Serve as Team Leader on acquisitions and conversions to ensure integration, documentation and communication of Accounting Policies to proper standard  
  • Develop ongoing innovation and process improvement, continuing use of technology to gain efficiencies
  • Coordinate certification process for SOX; controls over financial reporting

Skills/ Requirements

  • CPA Required
  • 7-10 plus years of experience preparing SEC filings and regulatory reports in a bank / merger and acquisitions experience preferred; management of reporting functions or a team a plus
  • Strong track record of leading teams and effective cross functional collaboration
  • Skilled at providing reports and presentations to Senior Management and Boards
  • Broad knowledge of Banking, Financial Reporting and Accounting
  • Strong operational excellence execution skills, including process improvement and project management for continuous improvement
  • Strong communication skills to deal effectively with multiple constituencies.

Job Purpose:

This Loan Workout Specialist will be responsible for managing complex commercial and residential real estate loans to ensure accounts are properly managed and monitored for debt repayment or foreclosure/liquidation of assets to minimize or prevent loss and maximize recovery. This individual must control compliance, credit, fiscal and legal risk tied to management of loan workouts. The individual must also be versed in State and Federal laws governing litigation to include Bankruptcy etc.

Key Accountabilities:

  • Manage a portfolio of  non- performing/performing  loans
  • Manage negotiations and related proceedings involving difficult and complex loans
  • Collaborate with Special Assets Group Workout Manager on ongoing loan workout review strategy and collections concerns
  • Implementation of workout process and controls with the objective of  measuring, monitoring and mitigating key risks
  • Prepare regular reports on key activities and measures of progress in non- performing portfolio
  • Provide assurance to all stakeholders of the Bank, including regulators, rating agencies, shareholders, investors
  • Ensure credit standards are being maintained consistent with those established by lending policy

Skills/ Requirements

  • 5-10 years’ experience in bank workout
  • Proven ability to interact with attorneys,  fellow management and internal customers of the Bank to negotiate and manage a successful resolution for the Bank
  • Ability to compile and  analyze complex data with a fierce attention to detail
  • Ability to exercise sound judgment and resourcefully solve problems
  • Prior credit training required.
  • Excellent Written and verbal communications skills
  • Proficient in MS Office- Word-  Excel and Outlook 
  • Must be able to work in a fast paced, high growth environment
