Samuel H. Smith III

Sam is the founder and President of Customers Commercial Finance, LLC and is responsible for the overall strategy and management of the business unit.

With a true passion for the art of the deal, Sam seeks to understand and find a path to transactions that result in the best solution for clients.  Sam founded Wentworth Capital in the mid 1990’s that was merged with Charter Financial and subsequently sold to Wells Fargo Equipment Finance.  As an equipment finance leader, Sam held senior executive positions with Wells Fargo Equipment Finance, Orix Vendor Finance, Equilease, and EverBank Commercial Finance prior to launching Customers Commercial Finance.  Sam holds a BA in Business Administration from Rollins College.
